Dr. Amalia Ciuca – Become who you are! The path to an authentic and fulfilling life

Description

The most important relationship is the relationship with ourselves. One of the most common mottos among people concerned about their growth and development is “I am my own worst critic”. Is this really beneficial for the relationship with the self? Can we grow and know ourselves in the context where the first person to argue virulently is ourselves? Studies over the last 20 years show us more and more clearly how self-criticism is associated with an increased risk of recurrent development of depressive episodes, but influences both relapse and chronicity of depression. At the same time, year after year life is gaining speed, adding new stressors, and cultivating other practices in relationship with the self does not remain enough in our focus.

Amalia Ciucă, researcher, trainer and clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience in researching and developing e-mental health solutions, invites you to a conference on how we get from a negative self-image and excessive criticism to a balanced self-image and self-compassion and why it is absolutely vital to do so.
