”Links” is an invitation to exploration in movement on the border between art and therapy. A fusion of the two in a dance of connections that form between a body in motion and its environment.
What happens between the different parts of my body when I move, what relationships exist between my body and the surrounding space, between myself and others? How do I connect and disconnect in movement? What does movement have to do with emotion? These are the questions we start from in our exploration.
We will use contemporary dance practices, contact improvisation, embodiment, somatic therapy and dance therapy. The workshops are a balanced blend of art and therapy and are open to all bodies willing to explore the world of dance both as an artistic act and as a therapeutic method.
