Ani Choying Drolma is a Buddhist nun from Nepal known for her humanitarian work and her music,
author of the book “Confessions of a Buddhist Nun.“.
Ani Choying Drolma is an exceptional artist appreciated by fans throughout the world, she has successfully performed in America and Europe, releasing 16
international albums. Her music is known for its deep echo that reaches its listeners, often called “healer.“
In addition to her music Ani is an acclaimed writer and she been awarded nationally and internationally for her extraordinary
humanitarian efforts. Since 2014, she has been appointed two times as UNICEF Ambassador in Nepal, being recognized for
her work for over 20 years in educating young Nepalese girls (Arya Tara School) and for 10 years working in medical services for
dialysis and kidney transplant patients. All her humanitarian projects are supported by the sale of her music and donations.
