About the facilitator

Donald is a writer, cognitive-behavioural psychotherapist and trainer. He is one of the founding members of the Modern Stoicism nonprofit, and the founder and president of the Plato’s Academy Centre nonprofit in Athens, Greece. He was born in Scotland but is now a Canadian citizen, and lives in Montreal. Donald is the author of eight books on philosophy and psychotherapy, including Stoicism and the Art of Happiness and How to Think Like a Roman Emperor, which have been translated into several languages, including Romanian.
