Description

Do you often find yourself searching for a certain freedom of mind?

We invite you to a workshop where you can identify those thoughts, experiences, or emotions that create tension and rigidity within you, preventing you from living a present and relaxed inner life.

This workshop offers practical Buddhist meditation tools that will help you understand and train your mind to face everyday life with more clarity, courage, and compassion. The focus will be on opening the heart and cultivating authentic love and compassion for ourselves and others, by learning how we can integrate compassion and wisdom into our daily lives.

Starting from the profound perspectives of Buddhist psychology, we will explore how our patterns of thinking can generate both suffering and freedom. Through guided reflection and meditation, you will learn simple and practical methods of training the mind that will help you respond to life’s challenges with greater awareness, inner balance, and care for ourselves and others.

In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to work directly with a Buddhist monk who brings these practices and teachings all over the world with the aim of sharing practices that can become a real and deeply meaningful support in everyday life.

About the facilitator

Geshe Sherab began his studies in the Kopan monastery at a young age and in 2000 he obtained his Geshe degree, the highest level of education available to Buddhist monks.
He is acclaimed for writing clear, practical commentaries on the Buddha’s teachings. His method briefly covers introduction to traditional meditation practice. This type of practice can effectively increase compassion and wisdom while healing unhealthy states of mind.

The workshop will be held in English.
