After five years of bringing together thousands of participants around conversations on psychology, personal growth, and wellbeing, The Inner is expanding beyond the conference space with the launch of Inner Walks: a series of nature-based experiences dedicated to inner exploration through walking, presence, and connection.

Conceived as an extension of The Inner universe, this project offers immersive experiences in nature where participants are invited to slow down, reconnect with the natural world, and explore meaningful themes in their lives through walking, community, and thoughtfully guided practices.

The first edition will take place on July 25–26, 2026, along the Via Transilvanica route in the Ținutul de Sus region.

For the beginning of this journey, we chose a place with special significance: Tășuleasa Social, home to milestone number 1 on Via Transilvanica.

Below you will find all the details regarding the route, schedule, accommodation, costs, and participation confirmation.

Essential information

• Dates: July 25–26, 2026

• Total route: approximately 43 km covered over two days

• Participation fee: 250 RON + VAT per person

• Confirmation of participation: by payment of the participation fee

• Accommodation and meals: paid separately, in cash, during the experience

Program

Saturday | July 25

• 10:00 – Meeting and departure on the trail (details regarding the meeting point will be communicated to participants soon)

• Route: Mureșenii Bârgăului → Tășuleasa Social — approximately 14 km

• We will have a lunch break along the route.

• 18:00 – Arrival at Tășuleasa Social

• 18:30–19:30 – Check-in and dinner

• 19:30–20:00 – Storytelling by Tășuleasa Social & film screening

• 20:00–21:00 – Evening practice (yoga)

Sunday | July 26

• 08:00–09:00 – Breakfast

• 09:00–09:30 – Stretching session and trail preparation

• 09:30 – Departure on the trail

• Route: Tășuleasa Social → Lunca Ilvei — approximately 18 km

• We will have a lunch break along the route.

• 18:00 – Arrival in Lunca Ilvei

• 18:00–19:00 – Organized bus transfer from Lunca Ilvei back to Mureșenii Bârgăului

Participation fee

The participation fee is 250 RON per person + VAT and includes:

• Bus transfer from Lunca Ilvei back to Mureșenii Bârgăului on Sunday, July 26

• Access to guided practices led by a The Inner facilitator

• Trail guidance on both days

The participation fee does not include accommodation or meals.

For lunch, we will have the option to stop at local gastronomic points along the route. Participation is optional, and each participant will pay for their own consumption.

• Cost: 200 RON per person

• Includes: accommodation, dinner, and breakfast

• Total capacity: 17 places

• Two rooms with 7 beds each

• One room with 3 beds

Casa Fântânele

• Accommodation cost: 150 RON per person

• 4 double rooms

• 3 bathrooms

• Meals are not included

Dinner and breakfast can be served at Tășuleasa Social for an additional 100 RON per person.

Cabana

• Accommodation cost: 150 RON per person

• One room with 2 double beds

• 4 double rooms

• 5 bathrooms

Accommodation places have already been reserved by the The Inner team. To streamline the process, payment to the accommodation providers will be handled by us, and participants will pay the accommodation and meal costs in cash during the experience.

Assignments will begin with the available places at Tășuleasa Social and will continue according to the order in which participation fee payments are confirmed.

Please keep in mind that the accommodation is specific to a hiking experience: simple and modest conditions, yet welcoming and suitable for the atmosphere of this journey.

Participation confirmation

Your place is confirmed after payment of the 250 RON + VAT participation fee. Once the payment is confirmed, we will follow up with your accommodation assignment and the exact details regarding the meeting point.

About the route

The two sections of Via Transilvanica that we will hike are of moderate difficulty, with elevation gains ranging from approximately 500 to 900 meters.

It is important to have a physical condition suitable for two consecutive days of hiking and to be prepared for distances of approximately 14–20 km per day.

Mandatory equipment

For safety and comfort, appropriate hiking equipment is required:

• Technical hiking boots that have already been worn and tested

• Comfortable clothing suitable for physical effort and changing temperatures

• Rain poncho or waterproof jacket

• Hiking backpack

• Sufficient water for the trail

• Energy snacks

• Cap or sun hat

• Sunscreen

• Change of clothes

• Personal items and hygiene products
