This workshop is dedicated to people who want to better understand why and how they eat, improve their relationship with food and create healthy habits without strict diets or impossible rules.

We will explore the factors that influence food choices – from emotional hunger and food cravings to portion perception and mindful eating. In addition to science-based information, participants will be given interactive exercises to become aware of their eating patterns and discover simple, immediately applicable strategies.

Topics covered:

  • Physical hunger vs. emotional hunger – How do we tell them apart and are there any solutions?
  • Why do we crave certain foods? – Physiological and psychological factors
  • Mindful Eating – How to enjoy food without excess
  • How to manage portions without restriction – Visual estimation and satiety

 

About the facilitator

Olea Manaf is a nutritionist and counselor in Intuitive Eating, with an approach centered on balance, understanding the body’s real needs and evidence-based nutrition education. She opposes restrictive diets and food myths, promoting a harmonious relationship with food and an authentic reconnection with one’s own body, beyond rigid rules and prohibitions.

With a strong background in nutrition and body shaping, Olea has a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Body Remodeling from the National University of Physical Education and Sport in Bucharest and holds certifications in nutrition, fitness and eating behavior. She took advanced courses in Emotional Eating and Body Image, specializing in guiding people towards conscious and sustainable food choices.

Through its work, it supports people to understand their bodies, make informed choices and find their own balance, not through drastic restrictions or quick fixes, but through education, self-awareness and sustainable change.
